58lb+ Grass Carp! 14/07/2023 00:00:00 This one certainly gave our French team member Thomas Mascha the run around! Having pre-baited a spot on a large grave pit close to his home in northeast France using Top Banana boilies, Thomas dropped in for a morning session.
Fishing 2 rods on the pre-baited area with a Top Banana hook bait coupled with a Size 4 101 hook, our man dropped 4 or 5 Spombful of boilies and pelets over the top every 40 minutes. Within a few hours the alarm went into meltdown and the fight of his life ensued.
Tipping the scales at 26.5kg (58lb+) this monster is Thomas' new PB grass carp, beating his previous best by 2kg (4lb+). eb080e19-b517-4dd0-8057-607c8d236b31 Quick-Hit Forty 10/07/2023 00:00:00 Belgian-based Solar man Ignace de Roeck topped off a day-only session with this unit of mirror that tipped the scales at 22.2kg (48lb+).
Out testing a new bait, Iggy had pre-baited a spot and dropped on for the day. Landing two 22lb+, hard-fighting male carp (one mirror and one common) through the morning, action dropped off until the early afternoon when this chunky mirror gave our man a 'one toner'.
