Solar Tackles Media Manager Dave Wood only has a few weeks left of his Syndicate ticket, with the biblical weather conditions last week a cheeky day session was in order.
Dave has been keeping his eye on one particular area of the lake that he knows the fish turn up to every year when the weather starts warming up, and sure enough after the couple unseasonal twenty degree days signs of fish this area were apparent.
After getting down first thing and possitioning two baits in the shallow area of the lake the days angling ended up with two stunning scaley mirrors of 30lb and 26lb. A combination of Quench and sweetcorn free offerings wth an 11m secret pop up over the top, a method Dave has favoured for a couple of springs now with great results.
