Wes' Reward, A 40lb+ Common

Having baited up little and often on his home syndicate, Integra Lake, Belgian-based team member Wesley Lagaert has landed one of the lake's original commons at just over 40lb.

Baiting up every evening for 8 days, in the dark so that his efforts would go unnoticed by others, Wes dropped on to the spot for an over nighter and, after landing some smaller carp, was rewarded with the big common.

"I started to see activity in the area after the third day of baiting," explains Wes. "But I decided to sit on my hands and keep baiting. Unfortunately, this did mean that some other anglers dropped on to the area and reaped rewards, but I kept persisting and was eventually rewarded. The Original Club Mix boilies doing the business as ever."
