Brace of Frimley 30s for Dave

Solar's Dave Wood couldn't of asked for a better start to his winter ticket on Frimley Pit 3. This 37lb common being the first of two 30lbers.

"After a few weeks of fishing different venues I was absolutely buzzing to get back down Frimley and continue my pursuit of that elusive 40lb common. Arriving early on the Monday morning to find two groups of fish in two areas of the main bowl of the lake, deciding to set up in the middle of both the sightings, I was confident for the night ahead. Two hours of hearing fish over the right hand rod it finally burst into life resulting in this pristine 37lb common.
Waking up at first light to a beautiful crisp and misty October morning with a big smile on my face. Sat with my morning coffee I see one show bang on the middle rod, and shortly after that rod was away! After a lengthy battle another very reasonable fish was in my net 34lb, for the record. Making it a dream start to my winter campaign and one step closer to the main target."
