Dennis de Wilde and his son Bas spent two nights on Jeff’s Lake on the Karperhoeve in Belgium(can be booked through The Carp Specialist).
The lake can be booked exclusive only and has a nice caravan on site.
The boys enjoyed steady action with 15 fish caught in total including commons, mirrors and even a big sturgeon. Dennis let Bas catch all the fish, except 1 bite (bite number 13 was for dad).
On the last morning Bas wanted to end with 15 fish, so with just 1 hour to go they re-did 2 rods, put the last bait on the spots and that desired last bite came half an hour before packing up.
And whats even better, it was the one fish they wanted to catch most as you'll agree its a very nice scaley mirror! Driving back home Bas was exhausted, so the last hour was his most quite of the whole trip.
All fish caught on Ronnie Rigs with Creamy Sweetcorn pop ups on beds of half 15mm Top Banana and Clubmix boilies and sweetcorn.
