Job Title: Marketing and Media Coordinator
Job Summary
The Marketing and Media Coordinator is responsible for supporting the marketing team in the development and execution of marketing campaigns, managing media relations, and ensuring brand consistency across all digital and traditional platforms. This role combines creative, organisational, and communication skills to enhance the company’s visibility, drive brand awareness, and support business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
Marketing Campaign Coordination:
· Assist in the development, execution, and monitoring of marketing campaigns across multiple channels (social media, email, print, and digital).
· Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to ensure campaigns align with company goals and branding guidelines.
· Track and report on campaign performance, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
Content Creation and Management:
· Develop, curate, and manage compelling content for social media, websites, blogs, and other digital platforms.
· Assist with the creation of marketing material including brochures, newsletters, presentations, and promotional materials.
· Maintain a content calendar to ensure a consistent flow of engaging and relevant content.
Media Relations:
· Build and maintain relationships with media outlets, journalists, and influencers to secure media coverage.
· Draft and distribute press releases and other related materials.
· Monitor and report on coverage results.
Social Media Management:
· Manage and grow social media accounts by creating engaging posts, responding to followers, and running paid advertisements.
· Analyse social media performance and implement strategies to improve reach and engagement.
· Stay up-to-date with the latest social media trends, algorithms and tools.
Brand Management:
· Ensure consistent brand messaging and visual identity across all marketing materials and platforms.
· Support in the execution of brand-related events and sponsorships.
Market Research:
· Conduct market research to identify trends, customer preferences, and competitor activities.
· Compile insights and present findings to assist in shaping marketing strategies and campaigns.
Budget Management:
· Assist in managing the marketing budget, ensuring expenditures are tracked and staying within the budget.
· Coordinate with vendors for cost estimates, invoices, and project deliveries.
Analytics and Reporting:
· Track and report on the performance of marketing campaigns using tools like GA4, Meta Business Suite, YouTube Studio and other relevant platforms.
· Provide regular reports with actionable insights to improve future campaigns.
Attributes:
· Previous experience in marketing, public relations, or media coordination.
· Strong knowledge of social media platforms, content creation, and digital marketing strategies.
· Excellent communication, organisational, and project management skills.
· basic knowledge in graphic design tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite) and content management systems (e.g., WordPress) is a plus.
· Good analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and provide actionable insights.
· Familiarity with SEO and digital advertising platforms (Google Ads, Facebook Ads) is an advantage.

Work Environment:

Salary – Based on Experience
Travel Allowances - Maybe considered dependent upon location.
Start date: Immediate
Place of Work: Dartford, Kent, UK (Hybrid / work would be considered)
