Prototype Bait Takes Nine Carp In One Session

Last Updated: 21st September 2012Nine carp to 30lb 8oz have made for Kevin Ballard’s most prolific session to date on an undisclosed Surrey pit. Using a prototype bait, Kevin, a Solar Tackle employee landed carp of 20lb, 24lb, 26lb and 28lb before rounding the session off with a thirty. This almost doubled his previous best session, having landed up to five carp in a single session prior to this.
The Sussex-based rod fished from Thursday evening until Sunday morning presenting a mixture of boilie hook baits and pineapple pop-ups over a bed of boilies, hemp and corn and is planning a return trip very soon.
