Last Updated: 11th September 2012Arjen Uitbeijerse has just returned from two weeks at Rainbow Lake where he, and angling partner Bart Voeten, landed a total of 84 carp. Spending their first week in swim 11 the pair landed 25 carp to 49lb before moving to the Island for the second week where the success continued with another 59 carp landed, including six over 60lb.
The biggest of the session was a 65lb 9oz (29.9kg) common caught by Arjen on Club Mix Cream boilies, which is a carp he landed back in November 2010 at 62lb 6oz (28.4kg). Bart wasn’t far behind, with his two biggest of the session being 63lb 1oz (28.6kg) and 64lb 8oz (29.4kg).
